This summer, between July 15 and August 21, discover the fantastic Abbey of Fontevraud differently! At nightfall (from 9:30 p.m.), the abbey is the scene of an astonishing staging based on light effects, sound effects and video projections. It is the work of Bruno Seillier, artist and director specializing in the scenography of major historical monuments. He has staged the Eiffel Tower, the Hotel des Invalides or the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral, among others…
Also not to be missed is the exhibition “Metamorphoses, in the art of Claude Monet” at the Musée d’Art Moderne de l’Abbaye de Fontevraud, until September 18.
