Pierre Varési is a painter and writer (he has published a dozen books) from Brittany. In love with tufa stone and the unique light of the Loire Valley, he loves to illustrate in watercolor the mansions of Touraine and Anjou.
How did he get to La Pénesais? Probably by surfing the internet, looking for pictures of houses with character. Anyway, one day we received an email asking for permission to paint our house. Already, the simple fact of “asking permission” had seduced us, but when we discovered his achievements on his Facebook account, we were convinced.
The result lives up to our expectations: a very beautiful interpretation of the charm and elegance of the traditional bourgeois houses of Touraine.
Thanks to Pierre Varèsi for this beautiful achievement !
